Latino Books Month {Giveaway}

May is almost over, but we still have a few days left to celebrate Latino Books Month! And, in honor of this celebration, we wanted to give all you mamis (and papis) a chance to win a set of books from Hachette Book Group.

Cesar Chavez Day School Clean-Up

In honor of Cesar Chavez Day, we are having a work day to clean up our school yard and garden.

This Sunday, April 18th, from 9:00am to noon, we will be painting, weeding, and doing general clean-up around the Grand View Elementary.  The more hands, the more we can accomplish.

Bring the whole family and help make our school a more beautiful place!

Family events this weekend


Jose Luis Orozco is performing at the Santa Monica Public Library
TODAY beginning at 3pm. If you’ve never heard his songs or seen him
live, you’re in for a great treat. He’s one of the main musicians who
have managed to keep our heritage alive through reviving the songs
from our childhood.

Dual Language Orientation/Tour, March 18th

Thursday, March 18, at 8:30am, we will be hosting our Dual Language orientation/tour for prospective parents.  Our principal will introduce the program and all of our DL teachers, followed by a quick overview of the program.  From there, prospective parents will tour the campus, visiting the DL classrooms.

Come by, meet our wonderful teachers, see what great things we are doing on our campus, and ask any questions you have.  We can’t wait to meet you!
